I am a free-lance editor and sensitivity reader, specializing in romance novels. I came to this space by working on the exact opposite – research to prevent intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and child abuse and neglect. After years of conducting research and publishing scientific and technical articles on preventing violence, I turned to healthy relationships, love, and fiction.

I earned a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Masters degree from University of California at Berkeley and Bachelors of Arts from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
